Peacock Tapestry Ornament

Here is a Teresa Wentzler freebie found on her site here. It is called Peacock Tapestry Ornament and is 38 h by 38w stitched on 28 count tea dyed linen over 2. I crafted it into this needle box made out of a cardboard avon type box. This is my first post on this blog and I'm looking forward to adding more posts in the future. Sweet Bunny Pillow

Passione Ricamo, over 2 on 18 ct lambswool linen, border of six colors in DMC 4 strands. Stitched flowers in Sampler Threads, attached charms and backed it in Fleece.

Pastel Heart Pillow

Barbara and Cheryl oldie, stitched on 14 ct white aida with DMC. Backing and ruffle in green print calico, attahced matching pink ribbons on each corner.

Lavender Wings Santa - stitched on Floba in Sampler Threads, lenghtened his body, added shoes, blended greens for coat cuffs and bottom, added wood-like buttons to coat and star charm at top, stitched separate ornament over 1 on 28 ct linen "Listen for the Bells" in middle portion, attached with Kreinik gold thread. Made the bag, lined the top with calico print and cuffed it. Caron Collection Noel thread woven through and attached antique beads at the bottom so threads hang nicely. Potpourri added to bottom gives bulk and filled with cinnamon sticks.

Bee Hive

Stitched on 28 ct natural linen in Sampler Threads, added more to vine, changed words on hive, and added a row of specialty stitch top and bottom with scripture verse. Border is Maple Syrup with Kreink metallic backstitched over top in honeycomb pattern. Angel and padlock charms attached. Professionally framed

shop project from Trail Creek Farm, on cream linen stitched with Sampler Threads and Noel overdyed for closure. I added lace, apple charms and cording up the sides.
